"Hallie why do you have to go?!" Nara whines. "why what are you complaining about? your going camping with your man". The two best friends where in Hallie's room preparing in their own way for Hallie's vacation to Bahamas.
"My boy"
Hallie smirks "whatever at least your getting more action than me".
"we'll see anything can happen in the land were the palm trees sway" Nara says with a knowing smile.
"Hallie why do you have to go?!" Nara whines. "why what are you complaining about? your going camping with your man". The two best friends where in Hallie's room preparing in their own way for Hallie's vacation to Bahamas.

Hallie was walking down the street of her condo in the Bahamas, were she was staying for two weeks, when she saw a hot guy who was taking a walk as well. Incidentally [and deliciously] he was shirtless showing his AMAZING thing of a semi-six pack. Oh yeah ;). She notices that he is looking at her and she returns the look and approaches him. The first thing that she says to him is "How old are you?" and the answer is that he is a year older than her. Oooh. They started talking and his name is Alfredo.It turns out that he is her next door neighbor and their parents had already met and were friends which meant that he got to go to all her family gatherings and parties and stuff. Her brothers don't mind him, in fact they like him and they get along really well because they like the fact that he's so sporty and he isn't afraid to wrestle with Wade and he even wins a couple times. One time they go out to one of those restaurants that have dancing and stuff and Hallie and Alfredo go out to the dance floor. Hallie is a wearing a summer dress that is golden and as they dance, Alfredo really sucks so Hallie does her amazingly seductive signature move and he is just mesmerized. She is trying to teach him how to dance but it ain't really working. They go back to the condo and Hallie gets a call from Nara.
"HALLIEE!!! I'M COMING OVER!!!!"
"Whaat?! To Bahamas?"
"YES!"
"Why?? What happened to the camping trip with your MAN?"
"...my boy...and I broke up with him..."
"WHAT?~! WHY?!! What happened? Are you okay? I swear, if he cheated...I'm killing him..."
"Psh..no...I'm fine, he's the one that's been crying..."
"...what did you do..............?"
"...Okay, he couldn't make a fire. WHAT KIND OF MAN...or boy....DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO MAKE A FIRE??!"
"Oh Nara...you guys were perfect for each other...kind of..."
"...didn't know how to make a fire..."
"When am I picking you up?"
"Now. Please. I need to start surveying my choices around here."
Nara is at the airport waiting to be picked up and she is going to be staying with Hallie. Alfredo is tagging along with Mr. Farke and Hallie. Alfredo's cousin Leonardo, who a year older than Alfredo, is also in need of being picked up from the airport.
The next day was the day that Nara and Leonardo first laid eyes on each other. Leonardo was smitten at first sight , but Nara on the other hand reluctant and just like whatever to him because she had another guy in mind. But Hallie ,who didn't want Nara to be a nun over the break encouraged her to at least say hi to the poor fellow. So to please her bestie, Nara went and said hello to Leo, and Leonardo who was a romantic (he was french of course he was romantic and he really liked cheese) the first thing he says is "Hello Nara..I'm Leonardo La Bush..but you can call me Leo like a lion". Nara, who was sort-of impressed said "okay." and that he could call her "Nara". So that started off the foursome that was made of Hallie, Alfredo, Nara, and Leo....nardo. They all enjoyed the beach and the water so guess where they spent all their time? Yup at the ocean.
Alfredo and Hallie continued their surfing lessons out on the beach. They left Nara and Leo on the beach...because other than the fact that they wanted to be alone...they knew that Nara and Leo did too. Hallie was really getting a lot better and Alfredo was getting quite impressed. After awhile of this...they had been there for hours and now they were just sitting on their surf boards enjoying the sunset together.They started talking about things like the future and he mentioned that he really liked Spanish poetry.
"las rosas se marchitan y las aves pueden morir..." he said in his serene, undulating voice
"pero mi amor por ti nunca te desvaneces" She finished.
He beheld her in a new light. He leaned down to kiss her but she turned away. and as he traced his fingers down her bare back...she turned back with a torn, desperate look on her face and unwillingly stopped him saying...
"We've got to go...my parents will be waiting"
And as they made their way back to the shore...he reached out and grabbed her hand...
To her, it felt warm and homely...she didn't want to let go..
But she did as her jaw dropped when she took in the sight of Nara and Leo mackin' it out. Quite intensely too...it was pretty disgusting.Hallie nudged Alfredo and whispered...
"When should we stop them?".
Alfredo smiled and whispered back "Let's make it as awkward as possible!" with a devious smile on his face..one that Hallie found quite steamy.
"Uh hem" he said...and it was SO hilarious how guilty that two looked. As Nara looked up at her, Hallie couldn't help but notice how red she suddenly was...
a long silence passed......................
until Leo broke it with a casual "did you guys have fun?" Alfredo the real charmer says "not as much as you did". The cousins do a little hi five as they all return to the condo. Hallie and Nara fall behind to share a little meaningful chat.....
"so how was that?" Hallie asks truly curious,
Nara replies "you now how they have the french kiss? I think they actually have a course in France were they teach the kids how to fulfill the standard of a French Kiss"
"so it went well then"
"you have no idea", Nara says with a coy smile.
Two days later the foursome go to the hottest dancing place in Bahamas. In order to look her hottest, Hallie decided to put on a really really pretty stunning halter dress with a bikini underneath. She had had something planned for that night...and when she was sure that Nara and Leo were to absorbed in each other to notice anything, she took Alfredo's hand and took him outside the place... They went for a walk down the beach and she felt just a tad spontaneous that night.
"Feel like going for a swim?" She asked as she waded into the water...and without waiting for an answer she slowly took off her dress threw it at him in a teasing manner with a mischievous smile on her face and dove into the warm, inviting water. Alfredo [eyes bulging] was just like wtf but oh well..he took off his shirt and dove in right after her. After a couple minutes of childish flirting/fooling around and splashing... Her face went all serene and determined again but all she did was just stare at him. They were about a foot away from each other with the glorious moon glowing above them. And as her stare got more intense, more curious...he felt as if it was pulling him toward her and he followed it. They were both standing very still with only little ripples appearing around them as he moved closer to her still. He slowly and deliberately raised his hand up to her cheek and kissed her with the softest of pressure but it was enough to send a tremor through her body...and she wanted more.
He began to kiss her ear, her neck, her cheek...it tickled her and she giggled. As the intensity of the moment faded, playfulness took its place. Out of nowhere, in the middle of the splashes and the flirting, desire took over her and threw her arms around his neck, pulled him close and threw most of her inhibitions out the window. He didn't argue.
Unfortunately for him, this brilliant moment was cut short by none other than his very own flesh and blood cousin. The two jumped apart and stared at the newcomers of this party and Alfredo took a look at his coz. Apparently, he had had a drink...or two.
"hello" Nara said innocently "fancy running into you guys here, Leo and i were just out you know swimming...." Leo still a little muddled cried out " no my love, we were trying to play a joke on them"."Thank you dear for yelling out our little plan" Nara said sarcastically but laughing at the same time.
The last few days of their two week vacation passed in a haze, they went bowling, shopping, spent a little quality time with the rents, but they mostly spent their time at the beach, and had loads of fun. But then came the time to say goodbye.
Alfredo and Hallie walked into the airport holding hands...they only had so much more time left to be together. When she looked up at him, the words that she wanted to say were stuck in her throat. His eyes stared into hers with intensity and there were no words to say. They both smiled a sad smile and as they embraced he slipped a note in her back pocket. And as they pulled apart he kissed her one last time, softly and sweetly. and with their heads close together she whispered "I'll miss you."
He smiled and said "I'll think of you whenever I see the moon." She grinned.
"Bye, Alfredo"
"Bye, Hallie"
And with that...she ran to her family and they left.
On the plane ride back to Vancouver, looking out of the window fighting back tears...she realized something...she hadn't yet read the note. Slowly and cautiously, she took it out and unfolded it and as she read it, the tears fell freely from her eyes.
It was a drawing of them both in the moonlight. That moment. and there was a message at the bottom written in the most sophisticated calligraphy. It read;
"To the girl who stole my heart, I swear I'll come back to it one day..."
